The Peter is a loafer for how we live our lives today: adaptable, unpretentious, and ready for anything. When you need an option that can take you from the airport to the office to a stylish wear off the clock and on the town, this is your go-to pair.
The upper on every pair is given a unique, hand-applied patina to get a rich, burgundy color and burnish. Since crust calf doesn’t receive as intense a finish as most tannery leathers, the texture is noticeably supple from the get-go. No color can match the versatility of oxblood leather, adding a unique edge when paired with black trousers or denim, but equally at home with navy and lighter shades of brown and beige.
The Peter is mounted on our newly crafted 435 last, designed with a rounded toe to be our most generous fitting loafer through the toe-box without sacrificing a beat in balance and aesthetic. True-to-size, this last was created to simply fit and hit the ground running.
This model is Goodyear welted on a rubber sole with a full leather heel stack. The sole has the traction and durability of high-density rubber to stay on the move, but with a low-profile style that keeps the look fully refined when dressed up.
